FDA-Approved lasers for LASIK

The first thing you should see about when you are having your discussion with your doctor about your surgery is if the lasers he uses are FDA approved. If they are not I would find a different doctor. I do not think any doctor these days does not have them. Here is a list of a few of the major lasers approved by the FDA.

These lasers are for eye surgery that has myopia with or without the astigmatism and Hyperopia. They have different degrees, so ask your doctor abut which one you will have used on you for your lasik Surgery. He should be able to give you all the information you need on the type of laser he will be using.
