Precautions and Lasik Surgery

When you have decided to have lasik surgery you will want to do everything the doctor tells you, before and after the surgery to help your healing process. Listening to your surgeon will help to ensure that you do not experience any or very minor complications.

What to expect prior to lasik eye surgery to ensure proper healing:

• go over your medical history with the eye surgeon
• ask any questions you may have
• Give a list of medications you are taking
• He will take your blood pressure and if necessary do any exam

• Soft ones: 2 weeks beforehand
