Types of laser used for LASIK surgery

When in comes to Lasik surgery lasers are used to reshape the cornea. The procedure can be with or without blades.

The three lasers include:

• Allegretto Wave
• VISX CustomVue

In most cases, you will not be able to choose which laser your ophthalmologist will use however, you can make sure that the laser is approved by the FDA. The above listed lasers are approved while others are not.
