What to expect after LASIK surgery

After surgery, you can expect to heal in most rather fast. You will need to take at least a few days of rest however, before going back to your normal schedule.

Things you need to know:

• Some people notice a mild burning for a short time after surgery
• Do not rub your eyes
• You may receive a prescription for pain
• Your vision more than likely will be blurry the day of surgery
• Do not drive until your vision has cleared
• Do not swim
• Do not use hot tubs or whirlpools for at least two weeks after surgery
